Abstract/Citation: The Royal Decree approves the Anti-Harassment Act, 2018, which is attached to Decision No. 488 of 29 May 2018 (14 Ramadan 1439 A.H.) of the Council of Ministers.

The Anti-Harassment Act contains 8 articles and deals with harassment defined as "any utterance, act or gesture with sexual connotations from one person to any other person that would harm his/her body, honour or modesty, by any means whatsoever, including through the use of modern technology". Sentences, if convicted, range from imprisonment of up to five years and/or a fine.
