| Abstract/Citation: | In view of harmonizing national legislation with article 19 of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2006/54/EC of 5 July 2006, on the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in matters of employment and occupation (recast), the present Law amends article 17A of the Laws N° 205(I) of 2002, 191(I) of 2004, 40(I) of 2006, 176(I) of 2007 and 39(I) of 2009 on Equal Treatment between Men and Women with regard to Employment and Vocational Training, by amending the subtitle to include the phrase "burden of proof" and by adding new phrase 3, on the burden of proof with regard to an alleged breach of the provisions of the present Law. |
