| Abstract/Citation: | For the purposes of harmonizing national Cypriot legislation with the European Parliament and Council Directives 2008/104/EC of 19 November 2008 on temporary agency work, and 2006/123/EC of 12 December 2006 on services in the internal market, the present Law amends Law N° 126(I) of 2012 on the Establishment and Function of Private-Sector Employment Agencies and repeals Laws N° 8(I) of 1997, 195(I) and 211(I) of 2002 on the Private-Sector Employment Agencies. It specifically amends article 10, concerning the license renewal of the Private-Sector Employment Agencies, articles 23, 27 and 33, concerning the Labor Inspection procedure, as well as article 35, introducing the over-all and without reservations repeal of the aforementioned Laws. |
