| Abstract/Citation: | For the purposes of further harmonisation with article 5 of the Council Directive 2004/113/EC of 13 December 2004, implementing the principle of equal treatment between men and women in the access to and supply of goods and services, whose para 2 was declared as inoperative by the Court of Justice of the European Union, the present Law amends Law N° 18(I) of 2008 on the equal treatment of men and women related to the access to commodities and services. It specifically amends article 7, related to the insurance policies and adds new Appendixes I and II, as well as article 18 regarding the promulgation of ordinances amending the Appendixes of the present Law. |
