| Abstract/Citation: | The Law amends Laws N° 5 of 1960, 55 of 1968, 210 of 1990 and 77(I) of 2009 related to Dock Workers and the regulation of their employment. It specifically amends article 3(1) concerning the employment regulation and the establishment of a "Dock Work Council", competent for the regulation of wages and of the employment and working conditions in one or more ports. It further adds new paragraph (3) to article 3, concerning the coverage of extraordinary needs in dock workers by the existing registered dock workers of every "Dock Work Council". |
