Summary/citation: An OSH Programme must be implemented at every workplace. This programme will be permanent. It will consist of the following elements:
- Preventive medecine-related activities
- Occupational medicine-related activities
- Hygiene and Industrial Safety-related activities
- Functions of the Committee on Medicine, Hygiene and Industrial Safety of the company.
OSH Programmes may:
- Be designed exclusively for the company;
- Be designed jointly with other companies;
- Be provided by an external entity specialised in occupational health and certified by the Ministry of Health.
The employers are responsible for the implementation of OSH programmes at the workplace.

Employers with more than ten permanent workers should develop special regulations on health and safety and submit it for approval to the National Office of Medicine and Industrial Hygiene of the Ministry of Labour, within the three months following the establishment of the company.
This regulations should include, at least, regulatory provisions on the following points:
1. Protection and personal hygiene of workers.
2. Prevention of injury and illness.
3. Medical service, health establishment.
4. Buildings providing accommodation in dangerous or unhealthy industries.
5. Chairs for store workers, drug stores, factories, workshops and similar establishments.
6. Conditions to be met by protective elements for workers in the case of electric welding work.
7. Special rules for mining and oil companies.
8. Safety measures in the electricity companies and deposits of explosive materials.
9. Hygiene in the agricultural, livestock and forestry sectors.
Once the regulation is approved, the employer must publish it in two visible places at the workplace.

At workplaces there must be established a program of occupational health with the aim to prevent accidents and work-related diseases.
The Ministry of Health will issue rules on the organization and operation of the occupational health programmes. It may be required to create committees of medical, hygiene and industrial safety with representation of employers and workers.
