  ACUTE HAZARDS PREVENTION FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION Combustible.  Above 77°C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.  NO open flames.  Above 77°C use a closed system and ventilation.  Use foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.

  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation   Use ventilation.  Fresh air, rest.
Skin Dry skin.  Protective gloves.  Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.

EXPOSURE & HEALTH EFFECTS

Routes of exposure

Effects of short-term exposure
If swallowed the substance easily enters the airways and could result in aspiration pneumonitis.

Inhalation risk
A harmful contamination of the air will not or will only very slowly be reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C; on spraying or dispersing, however, much faster.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
The substance defats the skin, which may cause dryness or cracking.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS

ENVIRONMENT
Bioaccumulation of this chemical may occur in aquatic organisms.
