  ACUTE HAZARDS PREVENTION FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.  Finely dispersed particles form explosive mixtures in air.  NO open flames.  Prevent deposition of dust. Closed system, dust explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting.  Use powder, water spray, foam, carbon dioxide.

  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation   Use local exhaust or breathing protection.  Fresh air, rest.
Skin   Protective gloves.  Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes Redness. Pain.  Wear safety spectacles.  First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion   Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.  Rinse mouth. Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: particulate filter respirator adapted to the airborne concentration of the substance. Sweep spilled substance into covered containers. If appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Then store and dispose of according to local regulations. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment.

COLOURLESS-TO-YELLOW FLAKES OR WHITE-TO-YELLOW CRYSTALLINE POWDER.

Physical dangers
Dust explosion possible if in powder or granular form, mixed with air.

Chemical dangers
On combustion, forms nitrogen oxides. The solution in water is a weak acid. Reacts with oxidants. This generates fire hazard.
