  ACUTE HAZARDS PREVENTION FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.        In case of fire in the surroundings, use appropriate extinguishing media.

PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST! AVOID ALL CONTACT! AVOID EXPOSURE OF ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN! IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR! FIRST AID: USE PERSONAL PROTECTION.
  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation See Ingestion.  Use ventilation (not if powder), local exhaust or breathing protection.  Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
Skin MAY BE ABSORBED! See Ingestion.  Protective gloves. Protective clothing.  Wear protective gloves when administering first aid. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention .
Eyes   Wear face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection if powder.  First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion Symptoms may be delayed. See Notes. Spontaneous bleeding from various sites.  Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.  Wear protective gloves when inducing vomiting. Rinse mouth. Give a slurry of activated charcoal in water to drink. Refer immediately for medical attention.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Sweep spilled substance into covered sealable containers. If appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder. Then store and dispose of according to local regulations.

EXPOSURE & HEALTH EFFECTS

Routes of exposure
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, through the skin and by ingestion.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance may cause effects on the blood. This may result in impairment of blood clotting. The effects may be delayed. See Notes.

Inhalation risk
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
The substance may have effects on the blood. This may result in coagulation disorders. Animal tests show that this substance possibly causes toxicity to human reproduction or development.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS

ENVIRONMENT
The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. This substance may be hazardous to the environment. Special attention should be given to terrestrial organisms. Bioaccumulation of this chemical may occur in aquatic organisms. This substance does enter the environment under normal use. Great care, however, should be taken to avoid any additional release, for example through inappropriate disposal.

NOTES
The symptoms of bleeding do not become manifest until days later.
Effects may last up to several months after exposure.
Specific treatment is necessary in case of poisoning with this substance; the appropriate means with instructions must be available.
Do NOT take working clothes home.
