The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and by ingestion.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance is irritating to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system. This may result in convulsions and respiratory depression.

Inhalation risk
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis. The substance may have effects on the kidneys and liver.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS
TLV: 5 mg/m3, as TWA; A4 (not classifiable as a human carcinogen).
MAK: skin absorption (H)

ENVIRONMENT
The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid release to the environment in circumstances different to normal use. The substance may cause long-term effects in the aquatic environment.

NOTES
The substance is combustible but no flash point is available in literature.
Carrier solvents used in commercial formulations may change physical and toxicological properties.
Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is suggested.
