These safety rules (approved by the Ministry of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy 19.2.87 and the State Safety Inspectorate 10.3.87) are an update of the Ministry-approved rules of 1977. They cover: general requirements for safe working conditions; tube manufacturing buildings and structures; in-shop transport (transfer cars); billet and stock rooms; reheating furnaces; general requirements for tube mills; tube and pipe rolling; tube and pipe welding; tube and pipe seals; cold-drawing benches; cold-rolling mills; cylinder manufacturing; metal pickling; electropolishing; lined tube manufacturing; tube casting; tube finishing; liability for the non-observance of these rules.
