CIS 86-2043
(Direktoratet for arbeidstilsynet)
Work on board tank ships the holds of which are protected by inert gas
Arbeid på tankfartøy beskyttet med nøytralgass i lastetankene [en noruego]
These regulations, dated 14 June 1985 (effective at the same date), apply to work performed in shipyards. They cover: the requirements to be met before the ship enters the yard; the requirements to be met while in the yard (connection of the pipeline providing the ship with inert gas to the shipyard gas-producing unit, monitoring of the oxygen content, barring access to spaces that present fire or health hazards); authorised work, work requiring a permit; checks and certificates. Facsimiles of a certificate of entry and a permit to work are appended.

CIS 74-24 Flammable adhesives at temporary workplaces
Brannfarlige limstoffer på ikka varige arbeidsplasser [en noruego]
These rules, which entered into force on 6 Jan. 1973, are based on the Norwegian Workers' Protection Act of 7 Dec. 1956. They apply to adhesives which give off explosive gases during application. As many non-flammable adhesives of high quality are available, the rules are rather restrictive. The use of flammable adhesives is prohibited if satisfactory non-flammable adhesives are available. The rules also cover choice of adhesives, their safe use, labelling, storage, ventilation, heating, electrical equipment, fire fighting and first aid.
