Mines (locomotive) Regulations, 1971
These regulations provide for the types of locomotive to be used in mines, their operation and maintenance. They further prescribe the duties of mine managers, locomotive drivers and other mine workers in ensuring the safety of persons concerned with use of these vehicles.

Quarries (explosives) Regulations, 1971 [Ireland]
These regulations make provision for the storage, care, issue, transport and use of explosives in quarries. They regulate the duties of quarry managers and other persons involved in blasting operaitons and in firing explosives. They prescribe the type of equipment to be used and the safety measures to be adopted in using this equipment.
