| Resumen |
These regulations (effective 1 Jan 1989) relate to pressure or vacuum vessels, open tanks and pipe systems for liquids or gases. These new directives are a revised and amended version of AFS 1986:9 (corrected in AFS 1987:5), which they replace. The main alterations are changed inspection and checking requirement for some types of pressure vessels. Contents: definitions; sales specifications; compliance testing (new, repaired, and modified equipment); welders' qualifications; application for authorisation of heat treatment; verification of calculations and final testing; checks to be made by the manufacturer; periodic inspections; special provisions concerning welded vessels. In an appendix: list of vessels to be considered particularly dangerous; advice for the application of the regulations and detailed commentaries. |
