Título On the causal association between exposure to leather dust and nasal cancer: further evidence from a case-control study
Información bibliográfica Feb. 1986, Vol.43, No.2, p.91-95. 14 ref.
Resumen A case-control study of 21 cases of nasal cancer in Northern Italy (in a region where shoemaking is a traditional industry) and 39 controls showed an overall odds ratio for subjects exposed to leather dust of 47.1 for men, and 3.5 for women. The odds ratio was higher for adenocarcinoma and among workers exposed to the worst working conditions. There was also a significant dose-effect relationship.
