| Resumen |
These proceedings reproduce the 59 papers presented at the symposium, all discussing the implementation of the NUSS codes and guides developed by the IAEA. The papers were presented in 9 sessions: NUSS objectives and results; the conduct of regulatory inspection and enforcement; probabilistic safety evaluation; the conduct of the safety review and assessment of design; accident consequences and emergency planning; regulatory inspection of quality assurance activities; safe operation of nuclear power plants; extreme external events (earthquakes, floods, extreme climatic conditions, airplane crashes, terrorism, etc.); interface aspects of NUSS. A panel discussion on the future development of the NUSS programme is included. A list of the 140 participants is appended. |
