| Resumen |
Recommendations made by the French Association for Underground Work. Continuation of the article analysed under CIS 85-1219. General safety rules to apply to low-voltage surface installations and to 2 types of underground work (large and small cross-sections). Safety rules to follow in large cross-section work to do with distributing panels, cables and connection points and safety equipment. Electrical supply of special equipment; lighting of the site and safety lighting. Power supply for tunnelling machines: mounting of high-voltage cables on the walls, choice of transformer, low-voltage distribution, emergency stop devices, locking devices. Testing, supervision and maintenance. |
