Contents of this MD thesis: brief review of the development of the concept of first aid, and principal regulations in France on first aid at workplaces of the French electricity and gas boards; first aid training in these undertakings from the administrative and practical viewpoints: safety training, need for first aid workers, first aid specialists at the workplace, preparation for the various first aid certificates and as first aid supervisors, nuclear power plants, transport of injured persons. By virtue of his role in medical emergencies, the occupational physician is best qualified to advise on first aid training. |
