| Resumen |
Description of tests in Soviet coal mines to develop a more rapid and efficient method of removing methane. Best results were obtained by hydraulic breaking of the face using an aqueous solution of 6% HCl and 0.025% surfactant. Theoretical considerations on the mechanism of action of the solutions tested (quantitative data on the increased injectibility coefficient of the face as a result of the surfactant and influence of hydrochloric acid on desorption of methane in the coal), with the main results. |
