| Resumen |
This article describes the salient features of safety training programmes for foremen and supervisory staff in French industry, the conditions for achieving success, and how the training programme should be carried out. It examines in particular the difficulties encountered in the building and civil engineering sector and the methods adopted to overcome them in the North of France by the Regional Joint Technical Committee for the Building Trades. It gives details of the ways and means of imparting this type of training, in a manner adapted to their particular trade, to engineers, project managers, work site managers, foremen and team leaders. |
