| Resumen |
Rheography, oscillography and skin-temperature measurements were used to study lower-limb circulation in 150 long-standing truck drivers. Rheography showed pathological conditions in 52 cases (34.6%), although clinical symptoms (oscillographic and skin-temperature deviations) were apparent in only 7 cases. Rheography showed a pathological condition in only 13 (8.6%) of a control group of 150 printers. Circulatory disorders in the lower limbs of truck drivers are attributed to specific occupational factors: effect of cold and vibration, prolonged seated posture during driving, prolonged nervous and muscular tension, and the effect of harmful chemical agents. |
