| Resumen |
Analysis of 28 cases (25 men and 3 women) of porphyria cutanea tardiva. The analysis revealed a high incidence of cases in persons working in the open air (agricultural and forestry workers, track layers, brick-layers), in persons with regular alcohol consumption and in persons with hepatic lesions. Referring to a specific case, the author discusses whether or not porphyria cutanea tardiva is an occupational disease and makes special reference to the following points: effect of light, porphyria, medical history, and occupational relationship. |
