Resumen Chromium is widely used in various industries including the construction sector. Skin contact with cement has been associated with allergic or irritant contact dermatitis. Contact dermatitis is one of the most frequently reported health problems among construction workers. Cement burns are rarely reported and are considered a severe form of acute irritant contact dermatitis. This article reports the case of cement burn on the feet of a worker, which appeared after he spilled cement aqua over his boots and continued to wear them for five hours until the end of the work day.
