Abstract When faced with a minor spill or leakage, one should proceed in the following sequence: evaluate the hazard; notify the supervisor; take immediate actions (evacuate the area, cut-off the supply of product to the leaking equipment, use personal protective equipment); take further control measures; clean-up the area; take decontamination measures. The booklet includes a check list for hazard evaluation.
