Abstract Second edition of the manual abstracted as CIS 93-779. Section II covers assessment and management (clinical aspects, immunological evaluation, non-specific bronchial hyperresponsiveness, physiological assessment by serial measurement of lung function, occupational challenge tests, environmental monitoring of protein aeroallergens and other chemical agents, medico-legal and compensation aspects, evaluation of impairment/disability and surveillance and prevention). Section III provides detailed information on specific disease entities covering a variety of aetiological agents.
