This information sheet gives practical advice on how employers can meet their legal obligations to provide information and training on health and safety. It defines who should be trained, and when, and the main topics to be covered by the training: slips, trips and falls; contact with hot surfaces; being struck by an object; handling of knives; handling heavy loads; safe use of equipment; safe procedures; accident reporting.
