| Abstract |
Brief guidance is given on the implementation of environmental management in small businesses, with particular reference to the International Environmental Management System standard, ISO 14001. This standard requires companies to identify the aspects of their activities, products and services which may have significant impacts on the environment, and to manage these aspects through the setting of policy objectives and targets and through action programmes. |
