Abstract This data sheet provides advice on the safe use of smoke and vapour effects which use dry ice, oil mist, glycol or mineral oil smoke, or pyrotechnic smoke effects. Contents: potential hazards (freeze burns, skin irritation, asphyxiation, obscuring visibility); compliance with exposure standards; risk assessment; preventing and controlling exposure; use of personal protection; minimizing risks to the audience.
