Abstract International Chemical Safety Card. Short-term exposure effects: irritates the eyes, skin and respiratory tract; swallowing the liquid may cause aspiration into the lungs with the risk of chemical pneumonitis; lowering of consciousness. Long-term exposure effects: dermatitis. Occupational exposure limit: TLV: 250ppm, 1040mg/m3 (ACGIH 1990-1991); STEL: 310ppm, 1300mg/m3 (ACGIH 1990-1991).
