| Abstract |
This report provides a series of simple screening techniques which may be used to demonstrate compliance with environmental standards or other requirements for releases of radionuclides to the environment. The methods are designed primarily for facilities handling small quantities of radioactive materials released as point source emissions, but may be used by any facility releasing radionuclides. Conservative models and parameters are proposed. Glossary. Volume I presents the derivation of the models. Volume II contains work sheets and examples of screening calculations. |
