Abstract This review of the currently recommended clinical and laboratory approach to the evaluation of male reproductive problems describes history-taking, physical examination, evaluation of semen, evaluation of abnormalities of the endocrine system, and specialized laboratory tests such as bioassays, biochemical tests of sperm function, and tests for antisperm antibodies.
