Abstract Electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings were made of 11 workers before and after exposure to mixtures of organic solvents during the cleaning of printing rolls. Inhalation exposure was quantified by personal air sampling and was considered to be low to moderate. Results indicated that even a relatively short exposure to certain mixtures of organic solvents may cause acute changes in the EEG.
