Abstract This report summarises the content of a number of reports, theses and technical publications produced during the course of this research programme. The majority of the projects are concerned with the analysis and design of various large thin-walled steel shells increasingly used as major structural and buoyancy elements in fixed and floating offshore structures. In particular, a study was made of structural damage and its effect on buckling strengths of thin-walled structural components. A complete list of all the programme reports is included.
