Title The influence of prior exercise at anaerobic threshold on decompression sickness
Bibliographic information Oct. 1992, Vol.63, No.10, p.899-904. 26 ref.
Abstract In a study to examine the effects of exercise prior to decompression on the incidence of altitude decompression sickness (DCS), 39 subjects exercised at their predetermined anaerobic threshold levels for 30min each day for three days prior to exposure to an altitude of 6,400m in a hypobaric chamber. No significant difference in DCS preferences was found.
