Title Vibration white finger in foundries - Advice for employers

Abstract This leaflet gives advice to employers on reducing the risk of ill health caused by exposure to the use of rotating or percussive hand-guided tools. Symptoms of hand-arm vibration syndrome and vibration white finger are described along with precautions and preventive measures, including identification of risks to employees, review of product and process design, purchase of new tools and equipment and health surveillance.
