Abstract Description of the Register of Occupational Accidents and the Register of Occupational Diseases, the 2 components of the Registry of Occupational Injuries operated by the Danish National Labour Inspection Service. All accidents which result in 1 or more days' absence from work, and all diseases that are known or suspected to be work-related, are registered. Examples of the use of the registers are given, as are the principles of compilation of statistical tables from the available data.
