Abstract International chemical safety card. Short-term exposure effects: neurotoxic effects (central and peripheral nervous systems); effects on the kidneys, blood and heart. Long-term exposure effects: dermatitis; neurotoxic effects (central and peripheral systems), effects on the liver, kidneys, bile, bladder, heart, blood, spleen and lungs, resulting in blood in the urine and bladder irritation; possibly carcinogenic in humans; may cause birth defects and retarded development of the newborn.
