| Abstract |
A case of acute intoxication by 4-nitrobenzonitrile, a rare intermediate compound produced by pharmaceutical synthesis, is described. The patient subsequently recovered but liver symptoms persisted and a biopsy showed an increase in triglycerides and fatty alterations in the liver. |
