Abstract |
Very limited studies were found on the systemic effects of endrin in humans; no information was found regarding effects of endrin aldehyde. Inhalation studies demonstrate that the nervous system is the primary target for endrin toxicity. Acute human poisonings following ingestion of endrin involved symptoms of central nervous system toxicity leading to sudden collapse and death. No long-term effects have been reported in exposed workers. Glossary. |
