| Abstract |
This practical guide, aimed principally at labour inspectors, includes and reviews the principal ILO standards dealing with matters within the competence of labour inspectorates. These cover such issues as the fundamental rights of workers, working conditions, occupational safety and health, employment and industrial relations. It groups together standards according to particular field of application. A table of ratifications of the Conventions and Recommendations by member states, as of 1 January 1991, is appended. |
