Abstract There are no indications that d-phenothrin, when used as recommended, has an adverse effect on human beings. No cases of human poisoning have been reported. The exposure of the general population is expected to be very low and not likely to present a hazard. With reasonable work practices, hygiene measures and safety precautions, d-phenothrin is unlikely to be an occupational hazard. Detailed summary in French.
