| Abstract |
The Commission report provides details of the responsibilities of the Commission and its work in the areas of hazardous substances, occupational health, nuclear safety, industrial safety and in local authority health and safety. Details are also given of the work of the Industry Advisory Committees in such areas as agriculture, construction and the oil industry. The Executive report looks at the management of the organisation in terms of manpower resources, planning and performance, and training. Details are given of the work of the HSE Inspectorates in agriculture, factories, mines and quarries and nuclear installations, and also of the work of the accident prevention advisory unit and the technical, scientific and medical group. Statistics are given on occupational accidents, injuries and diseases. |
