| Abstract |
The requirements of the German (Fed.Rep.) safety regulation (VBG 109 concerning first-aid on construction sites are summarised. The first-aid service organised at the site of construction of a power generating plant is described. At this site up to 3000 employees of approx. 100 firms were present at times. The causes and types of accidents that occured at the site during the various construction stages are enumerated. |
