Abstract This Workplace Environmental Exposure Level Guide (WEEL) presents the available toxicological data and recommends appropriate exposure limits for industrial chemicals for which no standards have been developed. Synonym: 1,2-propanediol. Has a low level of toxicity by all routes of exposure. Skin irritation or sensitisation may occur from prolonged or repeated contact. Recommended exposure limits: 8h TWA limit =125mg/m3 for total vapour and aerosol; 8h TWA limit=10mg/m3 for aerosol alone.
