Abstract Chemical safety information sheet. Incompatible with nitric acid. Highly toxic by ingestion. Absorbed through the skin. Principal systemic effect is depression of the central nervous system. Signs and symptoms of exposure are those of cyanide poisoning. Used as an insecticide and a fumigant. No specific exposure limit has been established.
