Abstract This pesticide is carcinogenic in mice and rats. It can enter the body via ingestion, inhalation and through the skin; it bioaccumulates mainly in the liver. Toxic effects include neurological symptoms and liver damage. It can impair reproduction (mice) and is foetotoxic (rat). Other aspects covered: identity, properties and analytical methods; distribution in the environment; exposure levels; toxicology; effect on man, animals and the environment.
