||This directive (effective 1 Apr. 1985) lays down that first-aid equipment should be provided at workplaces, that first aid should be organised on the basis of the existing injury and health hazards, and that the workers should be informed about the existing first-aid measures. At all permanent workplaces, a sufficient number of persons should be trained in first aid. Notices should be posted up at convenient points, giving the location of the first-aid post and the persons trained in first aid, and displaying the ambulance or taxi phone number.
