| Abstract |
A computer-aided instruction programmme which is used to train operators, mechanics and fuel handlers working in electric power plants in safe work practices is described. The course covers routine maintenance and work orders, personal protection and electrical hazards and is supported by safety meetings. Lost-time accidents and recordable injuries sustained by power plant workers trained in this programme decreased 80% in one year. |
