| Abstract |
This ordinance (effective 1 Jan. 1984) was promulgated under the Swiss Federal law on accident insurance of 1981. Subjects covered: measures for the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases (scope; obligations of employers and employees; safety of buildings, technical plant and equipment; the working environment; work organisation); national organisation (cantonal and federal OSH bodies; the Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund; the Coordinating Commission); law enforcement in occupational safety; medical control (preventive examinations; transfer of workers at risk; rights of the worker and compensation); financing of OSH; procedures and legal channels. |
