| Abstract |
This standard (approved as an American National Standard: 19 Aug. 1982) lays down general requirements for the periodic inspection and testing of nuclear power plant equipment dynamic restraints (snubbers), the malfunction of which would significantly increase the occurrence or the consequences of an accident or the malfunction of equipment important to safety. Sections cover: responsibility for implementation; terminology; principles and guidelines; pre-service inspection; in-service inspection; records and record keeping. Appendices deal with: examination checklist items; and design and operating information. |
